In lieu of an all-day retreat, this year the UALC Professional Development Committee will be offering a series of free, online webinars on a variety of topics of interest to our members. The first one will be an introduction to the issues of health information literacy, and consumer health resources from the National Library of Medicine (NLM). It will take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, from 10 - 11:30 a.m. MDT, and will include hands–on exercises. More information will be available soon, such as details on how to log in, etc.
